I adore my memories of visiting my Grandma Virginia in Birmingham, AL. It was no secret that she hid cakes throughout her kitchen and dining room. Yes! Whole Cakes!!! It did not matter what time of night we got in from traveling South to Grandma's house, we were on the hunt for her cakes.
My favorite was her POUND CAKE!! When I smell this candle I can close my eyes and go back to sitting at her dining room table surrounded by family .... my Dad and Mom, siblings, Aunties, Uncles and cousins eating a slice (or two) of her Pound Cake. Soon after, we were on the hunt looking for the next hidden cake.
